Buch Construction Headquarters

Buch Construction is a leading woman-owned, family-run general contractor. To accommodate the firm’s expansive growth, a new 40K SF headquarters was constructed in Maple Lawn—a mixed-use community in Fulton, MD. The new building is three stories and features numerous interior amenities, a 1,400 SF rooftop deck, a golf simulator, and full-height windows. Buch and Curry Architects chose a linear masonry unit to intentionally make the office stand out amongst the area's vast masonry buildings. In crafting a distinctive aesthetic, the mason developed a bond pattern complemented by a split-face texture and recessed joints, enhancing the visual impact of the linear unit. For this project, Potomac Valley Brick supplied a Linear Series from Arriscraft.
