Newseum

Project Details

The Newseum was constructed on a landmark location at Pennsylvania Avenue and 6th Street NW, on the former site of the National Hotel. The architects for this project wanted to design a building that would be an architectural icon and easily recognized and remembered by visitors worldwide.

Potomac Valley Brick supplied brick pavers from Endicott that lined the exterior walkway of the Newseum. This walkway became famous for its “Today’s Front Pages” display, which features newspaper front pages from all 50 states as well as countries around the world.
